Connection to camera

If the computer and camera are not properly linked

If the error above occurs (No Optilink head found)

  1. Double check that all power (9-pin D-sub & LEMO connector) and fibre optic connections (at base box, and at camera) are connected to the camera.

  2. The integrated cable is very long and may be damaged.

  3. To check if the integrated cable is the problem, you can directly connect the camera fibre-optic connector to the base box (make sure LEMO is also connected).

  4. There is a “spare” fiber-optic extension cable that could be used.

Contact the Lab Manager if this error occurs, even if you are able to solve it on your own.
